Lithuanian GDP advanced 1.0 percent on quarter in the three months to March 2022, faster than a preliminary estimate of 0.9 percent expansion, after an upwardly revised 1.5 percent growth in the previous period. Increases were reported in manufacturing (2.5% vs 3.6%), agriculture, forestry and fishing (0.3% vs 1.8%), construction (3.2% vs 0.6%), real-estate activities (0.1% vs 1.4%). By contrast, decreases were seen in financial and insurance activities (-2.2% vs 3.2%), wholesale and retail trade (-0.3% vs 0.3%), information and communication (-0.3% vs 2.5%).
