Israel Industrial Production Advances in August
Industrial production in Israel rose by 8.2 percent year-on-year in August of 2021, following an upwardly revised 5.7 percent rise in the previous month as manufacturing production advanced 4.3 percent (vs 2.3 percent in July). On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, industrial production fell by 1.9 percent, compared with an upwardly revised 2.3 percent rise in July.

Industrial production in Israel eased to 5.49 percent year-on-year in July of 2021, following an upwardly revised 9.7 percent rise in the previous month. It was the weakest growth in industrial output since February as production slowed for both manufacturing and (2.2 percent vs 4.6 percent in June) and mining & quarrying (23.1 percent vs 47 percent). On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, industrial production increased 1 percent, followed by a 3.6 percent gain in the prior month.
