Industrial production in Finland grew by 3.8 percent year-on-year in February 2021, after a downwardly revised 4.2 percent rise in the previous month. The latest reading was the 12th straight month of increase in industrial production and the weakest growth in since last August, amid declines in output of both mining and quarrying production (-8.4% vs 6.3% in January), and electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (-8.3% vs -2.9%). By contrast, manufacturing production grew faster (6.6% vs 5.8%). On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, industrial output rose by 1.0 percent in February, after a revised 3.3 percent fall in January.
