Finnish current account surplus decreased to EUR 390 million in August 2021 from EUR 430 million in the same month a year earlier. The deficit of services account widened to EUR 244 million from EUR 176 million in the prior year and the shortfall of secondary income rose to EUR 207 million from EUR 164 million. At the same time, the goods account posted a small deficit of EUR 1 million, reversing from a surplus of EUR 111 million a year ago.
