Households' expectations regarding Finland's economy in 12 months (-27.7 vs -33.3 in March) and their intentions to spend money on durable goods in the next 12 months (-20.4 vs -20.2) were less negative, while consumers' views on the economy at present (0.5 vs 1.9 in March) and their assessment concerning own economy (1.3 vs 4.9) weakened.

Finnish Consumer Confidence Falls to 2-Year Low
The Finnish consumer confidence indicator fell to -11.7 in April 2022 from -10.5 a month earlier, being in the negative territory for the three times in the last four months. The latest figure was also the lowest since April 2020, amid a further deterioration in expectations regarding Finland's economy in 12 months (-33.3 vs -31.0 in February). In addition, consumers' intentions to spend money on durable goods in the next 12 months were much more negative (-8.8 vs -2.8) while their views on the economy at present eased (1.9 vs 2.9 in February). Meantime, households' views concerning own economy strengthened (4.9 vs 3.1). The long-term average is at -1.7.
