Denmark's current account surplus rose to a seasonally adjusted DKK 20.5 billion in October 2021 from a DKK 18.2 billion in the previous month. The surplus of goods account increased to DKK 6.5 billion from DKK 4.5 billion in September and that of primary income went up to DKK 8.8 billion from DKK 7.5 billion. At the same time, the surplus of services account was at DKK 9.1 billion, slightly lower than a DKK 9.4 billion surplus in September. Meantime, the gap of secondary income widened to DKK 3.9 billion from DKK 3.2 billion.

Denmark's current account surplus rose slightly to a seasonally adjusted DKK 16.1 billion in September 2021 from an upwardly revised DKK 15.1 billion in the previous month, pointing to the highest figure since June. The surplus of services account increased markedly to DKK 8.5 billion from DKK 6.3 billion in August while that of primary income edged up to DKK 6.4 billion from DKK 6.0 billion. At the same time, the gap of secondary income was unchanged at DKK 3.1 billion. Meanwhile, the surplus of goods account was down to DKK 4.2 billion from DKK 5.9 billion in August.
