It was the highest since May of 2008, reflecting optimism among service providers (unchanged at 106.7), industry (106.7 vs 99.5) and traders (103.3 vs 100.8). Meanwhile, sentiment weakened among constructors (118.6 vs 123.5).

Czech Republic Business Morale at 10-Month High
The business confidence indicator in the Czech Republic increased by 4.3 points to 103.8 in April of 2022, the highest since June of last year, underpinned by higher expectations of growth in manufacturing activity and confidence about corporate demand in the services sector. This was reflected in an increase in the confidence indicators for the industrial sector (99.5 vs 93.9 in March) and in the selected services sector (106.7 vs 102.3). On the other hand, confidence levels retreated for constructors (123.5 vs 123.8) and retailers (100.8 vs 101.9).
