Industrial production in Croatia rose by 3 percent year-on-year in May of 2022, improving from a revised 1.7 percent increase in the previous month. It was the fastest expansion in industrial activity in three months, boosted by manufacturing (3.2 percent vs 2.5 percent in April) and electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (2.5 percent vs 2.6 percent). By contrast, mining production continued to decline (-6.5 percent vs -7.1 percent).
