The unemployment rate in Colombia fell to 14.3 percent in July of 2021 from 20.2 percent in the corresponding month of 2020. It was the lowest jobless rate since March, as the number of unemployed dropped by 1.1 million to 3.49 million, while employed persons rose by 2.9 million to 20.9 million.
