Chile recorded a current account deficit of USD 6504 million in the third quarter of 2021, swinging from an upwardly revised surplus of USD 627 million in the corresponding period of the previous year. The primary income deficit jumped to USD 4,973 million from USD 2,593 million a year ago and secondary income surplus decreased to USD 115 million from USD 429 million.
