It was the smallest gain in retail trade since February last year, as sales slowed significantly for automotive fuel (9.7 percent vs 14.1 percent in March), and non-food products (10 percent vs 13.8 percent), particularly computers, peripheral units, software and telecommunications equipment (6.1 percent vs 20.4 percent). Also, retail sales via mail order houses or via internet moderated sharply (5 percent vs 14.1 percent).
