The steepest price increases were seen in intermediate goods (18.4 percent), followed by energy (17.8 percent), capital goods (11.5 percent), non-durable consumer goods (10.2 percent) and lastly, durable consumer goods (9.2 percent). On a monthly basis, producer prices rose 2.7 percent, slowing from a 2.9 percent advance in February.

Producer prices in Bosnia and Herzegovina surged 11.8 percent from a year earlier in February of 2022, accelerating from a 10.6 percent rise in the previous month. It was the highest producer inflation since comparable records began in 2007. Intermediate goods prices jumped 13.8 percent, followed by energy (12.1 percent), capital goods (12.1 percent), durable consumer goods (9.3 percent) and non-durable consumer goods (8.7 percent). On a monthly basis, producer prices rose 2.9 percent, following a 2.1 percent increase in January.
