Wholesale prices in Austria increased 25.1% year-on-year in May of 2022, slightly less than 26% in the previous month. Cost of solid fuels had the biggest impact (110.2 %), followed by prices of other liquid and gaseous fuels and related products (95.3%), fertilisers and agrochemical products (77.4%), iron and steel (67.2%), motor spirit (59.5%), and grain, seeds and animal feeds (59.2%). Compared to the previous month, the index increased by 1%."
