Private house approvals in Australia rose by 0.5 percent month-over-month to 10,077 units in April 2022, matching the preliminary reading and following a 3.9 percent fall in the previous month. Approvals grew in both South Australia (7.7 percent) and Queensland (6.2 per cent), while fell in New South Wales (-3.6 percent), Victoria (-0.9 percent) and Western Australia (-0.2 percent).

Private house approvals in Australia rose by 0.5 percent month-over-month to 10,077 units in April 2022, after a 3.9 percent fall in the previous month, a preliminary reading showed. This was the second increase since January, with approvals growing in both South Australia (7.7 percent) and Queensland (6.2 per cent), while fell in New South Wales (-3.6 percent), Victoria (-0.9 percent) and Western Australia (-0.2 percent).
