Upward pressure came primarily from prices of food & non-alcoholic beverages (14.5% vs. 14.3% in March); recreation & culture (13.3% vs. 12.4% ); clothing & footwear (8.4% vs. 8.1%); alcoholic beverages & tobacco (7.7% vs. 7.3%) and transport (8.6% vs. 6.9%). However, a few categories registered a minuscule rise: healthcare (0.8% vs. 0.7%) and communications (0.4% vs. 0.2%).
