THE GENERAL GOVERNMENT STRUCTURAL BALANCE IN SLOVENIA WAS REPORTED AT -1.77 BILLIONS EUROS IN 2009, ACCORDING TO THE INTERNATIONAL MONETARY FUND (IMF). THE STRUCTURAL BUDGET BALANCE REFERS TO THE GENERAL GOVERNMENT CYCLICALLY ADJUSTED BALANCE ADJUSTED FOR NONSTRUCTURAL ELEMENTS BEYOND THE ECONOMIC CYCLE.
