Estonia Producer Prices Change at 2.90 percent
Estonian producer prices rose by 2.9 percent year-on-year in June 2018, after a 1.9 percent advance in the previous month. It was the highest producer inflation since March, as cost of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply jumped (30.8 percent vs 14.2 percent in May). Meantime, producer inflation was steady for water supply, sewerage, waste management and remediation (at 0.5 percent); and slowed for manufacturing (1.3 percent vs 1.4 percent). Prices of mining and quarrying continued to fall (-6.8 percent vs -5.3 percent). On a monthly basis, producer prices increased by 0.7, following a 0.1 percent gain in May.
