Estonia Producer Prices Change at 4.70 percent
Producer prices in Estonia increased 4.7 percent year-on-year in August of 2017, following a 4.1 percent rise in July. It was the highest producer inflation since September 2013, as cost rose at a faster pace for both electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (10.4 percent from 8.3 percent in July) and manufacturing (4.3 percent from 3.7 percent). On the other hand, prices of mining and quarrying went up at a slower pace (4.7 percent from 5.4 percent in July) while inflation was steady for water supply, sewerage, waste management and remediation services (0.4 percent). On a monthly basis, producer prices rose 0.8 percent, accelerating from a 0.4 percent rise in the previous month.
