Spanish Consumer Prices Flat in December


Consumer prices in Spain are expected to show no growth in December of 2015, following a 0.3 percent drop in the previous month, as cost of fuels and lubricants fell at a slower pace. Analysts had forecast consumer prices to rise slightly by 0.1 percent.

On a monthly basis, consumer prices are expected to fall 0.3 percent, compared to a 0.4 growth in November.

Harmonised consumer price index is expected to decline by 0.1 percent year-on-year, easing from a 0.4 percent drop in the previous month and it is expected to fall a monthly 0.4 percent from a 0.2 percent growth in November.
