Mexican foreign trade went from a $200 million surplus in September of 2012 to a $1647 million deficit in October. In October of 2011, Mexico posted a deficit of $530 million. The first ten months of 2012 post a surplus equivalent to $471 million. Merchandise exports were worth $33.92 million (+13% over October 2011). Imports of merchandise were worth $34.57 million (+16.4% over October 2011).
