Spain's consumer price inflation is expected to increase to 0.5 percent year-on-year in July 2019 from a near three-year low of 0.4 percent in the previous month and in line with market expectations, a preliminary estimate showed.
On a monthly basis, consumer prices are set to fall 0.6 percent, following a 0.1 percent decline in June.
The EU-harmonised index is expected to increase 0.7 percent year-on-year, after a 0.6 percent rise in the prior month and below market consensus of 0.8 percent. Compared to the previous month, the index should slump 1.1 percent, after a 0.1 percent drop in June and against market forecasts of a 1.5 percent fall.
