In March, exports were USD 12.57 billion, a 14.4 percent decrease compared to the same month a year earlier. Shipments to the EU-28 decreased by 11.8 percent to USD 5.343 billion. The proportion of the EU countries was 42.5 percent in March 2015, while it was 41.2 percent in March 2014. The main export partner was Germany with USD 1.08 billion, followed by the United Kingdom (USD 1.03 billion), Iraq (USD 745 million) and UAE (USD 597 million).
In March, imports were USD 18.723 million, a 6.1 percent decrease compared with March 2014. The top country for imports was China (USD 2.347 billion), followed by Russia (USD 2.2 billion), Germany (1.814 billion) and Italy (960 million).
In March of 2015, exports coverage imports was 67.1 percent, compared to 73.7 percent in March 2014.
