South Korea Jobless Rate Down to 3.8% in March


South Korea seasonally adjusted unemployment rate fell to 3.8 percent in March of 2016 from 4.1 percent in February and beating market expectations of 4.0 percent.

A year earlier, the jobless rate stood at 3.7 percent.

On an unadjusted basis, unemployment rate dropped to 4.3 percent, compared to 4.9 percent in the preceding month.

Youth unemployment rate was recorded at 11.8 percent in March, down from a record high of 12.5 percent in a month earlier.
