Japan Unemployment Rate Rises to 4.3% in February


Japan's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate rose to 4.3 percent in February from 4.2 percent reported in January.

The jobs-to-applicants ratio was steady at 0.85 in February, the same level seen in the previous month, which was the highest since August 2008.

The number of new job offers rose 1.5 percent in February from the previous month and increased 4.7 percent from a year ago.
