Mexico Posts Trade Surplus in February


According to a release by the National Statistics Institute, Mexico´s trade balance registered a surplus of $46 million in February of 2013.

Mexico´s trade surplus in February of 2013 ($46 million) narrowed 90 percent in comparison with the same month a year earlier.

In February of 2013, Mexico´s exports were worth $29112 million of which $4149 million accounted for oil exports. In a year over year basis, exports narrowed 3 percent. Imports were worth $29066 million, a decrease of 2 percent from February of 2012.
