Swedish trade surplus decreased to SEK 4.6 billion in February of 2015 from SEK 5.8 billion surplus a year earlier as both exports and imports fell.
Exports amounted to SEK 93.9 billion, while imports were valued at SEK 89.3 billion. Compared to February of 2014, the value of both exports and imports decreased by 6 percent.
Trade with countries outside the EU resulted in a surplus of SEK 11.0 billion, while the EU trade resulted in a deficit of SEK 6.4 billion.
Seasonally adjusted, the net trade surplus amounted to SEK 2.9 billion in February 2015, compared to SEK 2.3 billion in January 2015. The corresponding figure for December 2014 was SEK 1.6 billion.
