Spain Inflation Rate at 2.7 Percent in February


According to the flash estimate issued by the National Statistics Institute, the annual inflation of the CPI in February of 2013 is expected to be 2.7 percent.

The National Statistics Institute provided a preview of the CPI that, if confirmed, would imply the maintenance of its annual rate, since in January this variation was 2.7 percent. In turn, the annual variation of the flash estimate of the HICP in February stood at 2.8 percent. If confirmed, the annual variation of the Harmonized CPI would maintain as compared with the previous month.

According to the flash estimate of CPI, consumer prices registered a 0.1 percent increase, as compared with the month of January. In turn, monthly variation of the flash estimate HICP in February stood at 0.1 percent.
