Year-on-year, cost of transport decreased the most (- 2.7 percent), followed by household equipment and routine maintenance (-1.3 percent), leisure and culture (-1.1 percent) and housing and energy (-0.5 percent). In contrast, cost increased for clothing (+1.8 percent), alcoholic beverages and tobacco (+1.2 percent), education (+1.2 percent), other goods and services (+0.6 percent) and food and non-alcoholic beverages (+0.3 percent). Prices remained unchanged for reataurants and hotels.
On a monthly basis, consumer prices decreased 0.4 percent, following a 0.5 percent drop in the previous month. Prices of clothing and footwear decreased the most (-8.1 percent), followed by transport (-1.3 percent), household equipment and routine household maintenance (-1.0 percent), recreation and culture (-0.4 percent), housing and energy (-0.2 percent) and communiction (-0.1 percent). In contrast, cost increased for restaurants and hotels (+1.2 percent), alcoholic beverages and tobacco (+1.1 percent) and non-alcoholic beverages (+0.5 percent). Prices remained unchanged for healthcare.
