Exports fell 2.2 percent on the year to € 19.32 billion. When adjusted for calendar effects, sales rose 1.1 percent. Compared with the previous month, shipments declined 9.9 percent.
In the first eleven months of 2013, exports rose 5.4 percent year-on-year, slowing from 6 percent recorded in the first ten months.
In November of 2013, imports shrank 7.6 percent over October and 3.7 percent over the same month last year to € 21 billion. From January to November of 2013, purchases fell 1.4 percent.
