In November, the country exported goods to the value of €102.2 billion, while imported goods to the value of €81.7 billion.
Germany dispatched goods to the value of €60.7 billion (+9.5 percent year-on-year) to the Member States of the European Union, while it received goods to the value of €54.2 billion (+6.3 percent) from those countries. Goods to the value of €37.8 billion (+8.8 percent) were dispatched to the Euro area countries in November 0f 2015, while the value of the goods received from those countries was €36.8 billion (+5.5 percent). Sales to EU countries not belonging to the Euro area increased by 10.8 percent to €22.9 billion while the value of the goods which arrived from those countries was 17.4 billion euros (+8.2 percent).
Exports to countries outside the European Union amounted to €41.5 billion in November 2015 (+5.1 percent), while imports from those countries totaled €27.4 billion (+3.4 percent).
On a seasonally adjusted basis, exports grew 0.4 percent from October while imports rose 1.6 percent. That brought the trade surplus to €19.7 billion.
In October 2015, the country posted a downwardly revised €22.3 billion trade surplus.
