Swedish New Orders Rise Faster in March

Total orders received by Swedish industry climbed by 10.7% year-on-year in March 2025, accelerating from a downwardly revised 2.4% rise in the previous month.

This marked the fifth consecutive month of increase, as orders foreign orders jumped strongly (19.7% vs 6.5% in February), while domestic demand fell much slower (-3% vs -4.2%).

On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, new orders advanced by 5.2% in March, rebounding from an upwardly revised 6.5% drop in the preceding period.
